During their first two years, students explore different career clusters through classes, field trips, independent readings, and interviews. They also experience volunteer work, job shadowing, and on-the-job training. Our career team works with each student to choose an on-the-job training placement and with job site supervisors to develop specific job skills and general work behaviors. Sites are chosen from across the metropolitan Birmingham area.
